Dashing past 4000 collapsing crates Jerry Yan Risk his life for Pepsi

Even a child actor envies him
Throughout this shoot, they had encountered various problems. Firstly the part of Hami City which was chosen for the shoot was about to be demolished. Fortunately the local authorilities were able to liason with Beijing. So the schedule was delayed to accomodate the shoot. 800 tribal locals were used as extras.

Due to the massive scale of the people and languages involved, just the controllers and interpreters required more than 20 people. Animals like chickens, goats, dogs were also called for in the performance (this is cute report). At the scene of the shoot, hoards of fans were crowding round to watch, some even climbed to the rooftops for a better view. To Jerry's embarrassment, a child actor laughed at him, "Big brother Jerry, you are so lucky. There are so many girls watching you."

His daring, death threatening action sequence was one after another. Jerry was greatly praised by the Director for his vigor and confidence. In one scene, he had to make a sharp 360 degrees turn with both legs springing through the air and escaping in flight. Another near miss was when he and the female lead had to escape as 400 crates of Pepsi were simultaneously collapsing. Jerry felt that this was a performance to be "death" as they were almost crushed by the crates. A local pre-university student, the female lead, Li Da is of mixed lineage. On the 8th of August, the Central Broadcasting Station will telecast the commercial which is in 2 different versions, one at 60 sec. and another with 30 sec.
